Mark Ayers - AMRT, Asbestos
Mark has 25 years experience in construction, providing residential and commercial building repair and remodeling services. During the past seven years he has specialized in demolition, restoration and reconstruction of fire-damaged, water-damaged and sewage-contaminated buildings. He is an experienced estimator, having engaged in all phases of the building, restoration and reconstruction industry. Mark's building experience includes water proofing and specialty coating systems. He has provided project management services for many high-profile remediation projects. Mark is also an Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC DOSH 06-4038).
John Banta - AMRT, RRP
John is certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene as a Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Health Science and 23 years of experience in Indoor Environmental Quality. He is a specialist in microbiological problems resulting from water damage in buildings. John is a Certified Mold Remediator, an Applied Microbial Remediation Technician and an approved instructor for both the NCHH and IICRC. He has conducted investigations, trained technicians, established worker safety and health programs and supervised crews in sewage, flood and fungal remediation throughout the United States. He is the co-author of the book titled Prescriptions for a Healthy House: A Practical Guide for Architects, Builders, and Homeowners and author of Extreme Weather Hits Home, Protecting Your Buildings from Climate Change.
Kent Berg - Trauma Scene, Meth Lab Decon
Kent Berg is considered one of the pioneers in developing this industry. He is the founder of the American BioRecovery Association (the international, non-profit trade association for the Crime Scene Cleanup industry) and author of the world-renowned textbook, "Crime and Trauma Scene Bio-Recovery".

Jim has been actively engaged in the cleaning and restoration industry for over 35 years. He is the President of RestCon Environmental, a division of Restoration Consultants, Inc. He is a nationally recognized instructor, consultant, columnist and author. His firm performs training, indoor environmental sampling, laboratory analysis, restoration consulting services, expert witness and litigation support services.

In 1990, Barb developed Restoration CleanUps, offering specialized fire, smoke and water damage restoration cleaning services to full-service contractors in the Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania market, many of whom are Restoration Industry Association (RIA) firms. Barb has received certifications in Odor Control, Carpet Cleaning, Leather Cleaning and Fire and Smoke Restoration categories through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
As founding member and President of Total Contentz, LLC, she continues to help restoration professionals improve their contents processing capabilities with the latest technology and procedures. Barb offers consulting and training services for full-service restorers and specialized cleaning contractors. Her particular areas of expertise are contents processing facility design, work flow and production strategies, on-site and warehouse contents processing procedures, and contents packing techniques. Barb is a Restoration Industry Association designated Certified Restorer (CR).

Jessika is the Director of Education and Technical Assistance for ProLine Supply. Her vast and varied knowledge of the cleaning and restoration industry makes her highly sought after as an instructor.
Jessika has been in the cleaning and restoration industry for over 24 years, opening her first carpet and upholstery cleaning company along with her brother in 1984. She has owned and operated several disaster restoration and bio-remediation businesses in the northern California bay area. Among her many accomplishments in the industry, Jessika has earned the status of IICRC Approved Instructor, IICRC Master Textile Cleaner, Master Water Restorer, and Master Fire & Smoke Restorer, Council Certified Indoor Environmentalist, Mold Remediator, and Certified Mold Professional. A recent industry symposium Jessika wasthe IICRC’s coveted ‘Favorite North American Instructor’ award.
Doug Kuehne - Truck Mount Rug Cleaning
Doug Kuehne is the owner of King's Carpet Service located in northern California. He is a 34-year vetran of the carpet cleaning industry. He is certified as an IICRC Senior Carpet Inspector, Master Textile Cleaner, and Master Restorer. Doug has served as a member of the IICRC Board of Directors and was also an IICRC approved instructor.
Steve Marsh - CCT, UFT
Steve has written and developed "The Competition-Free Marketing Program". Steve teaches and speaks not from theory, but from his 30 years of experience as the president of Magic Wand Services,Inc. a highly successful and profitable residential carpet and upholstery cleaning business located in California's Silicon Valley. Steve is a past Carpet & Fabricare Institute Director, an IICRC Master Cleaner, and Sr. Carpet Inspector. He also regularly teaches IICRC Carpet and Upholstery Technician Classes in addition to consulting and teaching business seminars.
Chris Taylor - ASD, WRT
Chris Taylor is a restoration veteran with the Aspire Educational Institute and an Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC)-approved instructor in the categories of Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD), along with cleaning related courses.
Mark Exner - CCT, UFT
Mark Exner began his long association in the cleaning industry in 1974 at the ripe old age of 19, working as a cleaning technician in several hospitals. His duties included cleaning everything from surgical rooms to carpeting. Mark later started a janitorial company, cleaning and refinishing all types of hard floors and carpeting. Currently he is President of FESS Corporation, the parent company for Mobile Restorations, performing specialized cleaning for restoration companies, Cleaner's Heaven, a Prochem distributorszhip, Flood-Smart! Products, a manufacturer of specialized restoration products, and The National Textile Institute, an IICRC Approved School. Mr Exner is currently serving on the IICRC S100 Carpet Cleaning Standards, Chair, Chapter 13, Equipment and Tools.
