IICRC’s Commercial Drying Specialist (CDS)

The Commercial Drying Specialist course teaches damage inspection and evaluation, work flow management, process administration and technical methods of effective and timely drying of commercial, industrial, institutional and complex residential water-damaged structures, systems, and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE). Resources for this course include: the current ANSI/IICRC S500 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Water Damage Restoration, reference media, scientific, technical and industry resources.

IICRC Prerequisite Requirement for CDS Certification:

All students taking the CDS exam must first be IICRC certified as a Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Health and Safety Technician (HST). If you plan to take the CDS exam, the CRA will require a copy of your IICRC wallet card or certificate, or a receipt showing that you’ve recently taken the WRT/HST exam and are awaiting results. Please fax certification proof with this registration form. IICRC will issue the CDS certificate.
 

Exam Cost:

$150.00
for the exam, in addition to the course fee. Cash, check (payable to the IICRC), or charge card (Visa, MC, AMEX) accepted. Registration conducted on-site and exam fees are collected prior to the administration of the exam.

Limited Seating:

We suggest that travel arrangements not be made prior to receiving a faxed confirmation from our office. In the event a course is cancelled or postponed, CRA will not be responsible for any costs incurred.
